1995: received vocal training from Laura Landi whom I was introduced to by Giancarlo Bigazzi. Worked for Laura Landi as a singer in various venues within the region of Tuscany.

1998: attended various courses in order to increase my experience and preparation including:
Keyboard and sheet music, Latin American dance, Jazz Funk Dance, Modern Dance, Vocal training.

Other Events

2001-2009: Since 2001 I have taken part as hostess and singer in the charity show “Partita del Cuore” which is held each year at the community stadium of Crema. Here the rival soccer teams are composed of famous TV and Show personalities, (football teams from Zelig (Canale5), from Iene (Italia 1), from Passaparola (Canale 5), from radio Rtl 102.5 and from Nazionale Comici. On the occasion of these manifestations my voice was used for the kick off at the beginning of the match and for the final festivity. Moreover, during the course of these football games, I worked with the DJs of Radio Hit Channel 102.5 to commentate the match live. In 2002-2003 I was involved in other football events with Radio Hit Channel as a singer and special guest.
In 2004 I sang during the first performance of 'PiazzaParola' at the 'Villoresi College' in Monza. A show hosted by V. Staffelli with guest Gabibbo (Striscia la Notizia, Canale5).
In 2008 I participated as guest and singer beside S. Sgrilli to the theatrical show "Sgrilli al buio", (“Theater of the Art”, Milan).

Television

2001-2003 : Singer on 'PassaParola' on Canale 5

In 2001 I was chosen by Luca Orioli to work as a singer for the Canale5 programme 'PassaParola' hosted by Gerry Scotti.
Thanks to this experience since 2001 I have been the official singer of the 'Orioles' (Claudio Pascoli- Saxophone, Andrea Tofanelli- Trombone) with whom I have performed all over Italy and particularly in and around Milan in such venues as : Old Fashion, Zithum, Casinò di Campione, etc..

2002-2004 : VJ for Hit Channel, All Music

In 2002/2003 I worked as a VJ on Hit Channel then in 2004 I was chosen by the producers of All Music to work on the show 'Soda+' as a presenter and singer for several live shows around Italy working alongside famous artists such as Articolo 31, Gemelli Diversi and many others. Then I appeared as a special guest at the BIT in Milan singing during a televised performance hosted by Susanna Messaggio and Alessandro Cecchi Paone and I sang live with 'The Band' (A. Martelli) at the 'Gran Gala del Cinema' in Busto Arsizio (BA Film Festival 2004), an evening presented by G. Sabani and broadcast live on Odeon TV and via satellite on SKY.

Since February 2004 I have worked on promotions for 'Top of the Pops' on Italia1.
In 2004 I was selected as the voice of 'Zero9' a telephone company whose adverts have appeared on such shows as 'Top of the Pops' and 'Gioco dei 9'.
In September 2004 I recorded a TV commercial which aired on MTV, All Music and Italia1.
In 2006 I recorded a TV spot broadcast by the Dutch and Belgium Tv.
In 2007 I took part as a guest and singer in the TV programme presented by Eleonora Benfatto and Marco Bellavia “Dammi il 5......... in tempo reale” (Telenova and Sky).
Since 2007 I’ve worked on Tv as a singer (Sky and Telenova).
In 2008 I was special guest of the television program Talent1 (Italia1) on the occasion of the special episode devoted to Madonna and I hosted “Talent1 Player” show (Italia1); then I worked as guest and speaker for some episodes of the broadcast program conducted by Gerry Scotti to Radio 101.


Vocal Coach

I began my career as singing teacher in 2004 and 2005 in Milan and Florence.
In 2006-2007 I taught singing at the 'Academia della Voce' in Milan.
From 2006 to today I have been teaching singing at the 'Scuola Milano Musica' directed by F. Langella, Mojo-Pin (Merate), “Music Time” (Milano). From 2007 to today I have been teaching singing at the “Istituto Musicale Europeo – European Musical Institute” – ISME (Milano).
Since 2010 I have been working as a singing teacher at the Music School "Il Pentragramma" (Milan). Beginning from 2008 I hold seminars of singing and vocal technique in Italy.

Live Show

Francesca Monechi Show
“Kinemo Band”, “Blond Ambition” and “Burlesque”

In 2004 I performed in various venues in the north of Italy with my band, and then in 2005 I formed a new band with the musicians who played alongside 'Annalisa Minetti' (winner of the San Remo Festival) who include: Pierfrancesco Tarantino – drums, Stefano Tedeschi – guitar, Massimo Saccutelli – keyboard, and Marco Migliarucci – bass. Since November 2005 we have been touring Italy and abroad performing live in various venues, conventions and other music events. The show is based on cover versions of the likes of Gwen Stefani, Britney Spears, Janet Jackson, Jennifer Lopez, Kylie Minogue and Robbie Williams, and finishes with a medley dedicated to Madonna. The show also includes songs from some of the best artists from the Italian music scene. The songs though covers have original arrangements and the performance also includes numerous costume changes according to the artist.
Since 2006 I have also worked with another musical formation, all affirmed professionals who have collaborated with famous artists of the national music scene, as well as various TV appearances (Passaparola, Canale5, Buona Domenica, Canale5, Bravo Bravissimo, Rete4, Meteore, Italia1, etc.) and done important theatrical work (such as the Musical “Cabaret” with M. Hunziker). (Franco Penatti - Drums; Claudio Beccaceci – guitar;, Andrea Pollione e Paolo Costa – Keyboards; Gaetano Puzzutiello - bass). With these musicians I realized a show, “Kinemo” with the music and the costumes inspired mainly by the 60s, ’70s, 80s, 90s and ’00s ( Italian and international repertoire). Even this show goes close to being a transformation show: I sing, dance and change costume many times (my changes of clothes are at least twenty), but the show and the music never stop (live tour 2006-2007, 2007-2008, 2008-2009, 2009-2010). Since September 2007 I have been performing with the same musical formation in another show realized and produced by me. The show, “Blond Ambition, by Francesca Monechi” is an official tribute to Madonna and uses sound, arrangements and numerous changes of costume (reproducing faithfully the clothes worn by Madonna in her live shows) to reproduce the various musical moments interpreted and sung by the Queen of “Pop-Music”, from the beginning of her career up to her latest successes. 2011 is the year of a brand new show for Francesca: a Burlesque-inspired show. A very elegant representation mixing music, singing and dancing that will let the audience enjoy a fantastic journey though Paris and the typical "Moulin Rouge" atmosphere.

 

Francesca Monechi (solist) – “Kinemo”

Since the debuts of her career Francesca he also exhibits live as solist introducing a show on musical bases.

From the 2005 Francesca realizes a show as solist ("Kinemo") with a vast repertoire, sung, interpreted, and calibrated by the artist herself to suit the public in front of whom she will be performing. With great ease Francesca sings pieces of Pop-dance from the international musical scene (such as, for example, B. Spears, K. Minogue, R. Williams, C. Aguilera), pieces by Madonna, pieces which belong to the Italian musical tradition (Giorgia, L. Pausini, Elisa) and pieces which belong to the revival and which have always stimulated the public to dance. As a solist, Francesca is usually accompanied by a dance group (Francesca Monechi and her Dancing Group) of a high technical and artistic level (some of the dancers with which Francesca collaborates boast important collaborations with numerous artists of the international musical panorama, among which the queen of the Pop one, Madonna).
Every musical moment is enriched by the clothes worn by Francesca and her dancers, carefully studied to direct the attention of the public to the musical period interpreted, sung and danced. All is enriched by a beautiful, enthralling choreography. (the show draws near to a show of trasformismo).
